PRIVACY ♡
Your photos stay yours.
Last updated October 2026
This page explains, in plain English, what Love Hibi collects, why, and what you can do about it.
What we collect
- Photos you upload, plus a smaller copy we make in your browser to read the scene.
- Your email address, used to send your private return link and to keep your pages together. There’s no password.
- Your Hibi files: the drawings we make, watermarked previews, printable downloads and any colour guides.
- Purchase and membership records: what you bought, when, the amount, and the payment references Stripe gives us. We never see or store your card details.
- Share links you create, and which pages they include.
- Basic operational records, such as a hashed record of return-link requests (to stop abuse) and technical logs used to keep the service running.
How your photo becomes a Hibi
To make your drawing, your photo is sent for processing to AI models through the Lovable AI Gateway and its model providers. The photo is used to describe the scene and draw your Hibi page. We don’t sell your photos or use them for advertising.
Kept private
Photos and files are kept in private storage. Your pages are only shown to you (or to people you share them with) through short-lived private links that expire after a few minutes.
Sharing
When you create a share link, anyone who has that link can see the pages in it while it’s active. You can turn a link off at any time in My Hibi.
Payments
Payments are handled by Stripe. Stripe keeps its own records of your payments under its own privacy policy.
Deleting your account
You can permanently delete your account from My Hibi. We delete your photos, every Hibi page and file, colour guides, share links, your profile and email, your remaining Hibi Hearts and your sign-in.
We keep anonymous payment records (amount, date, product and payment reference) and the matching history of Hearts bought and used, with your email and account removed. We keep these because we need accurate financial records for accounting and to handle any refunds. Stripe also keeps its own records.
If you have an active Hibi Monthly membership, please cancel it and let it end before deleting your account.
Your rights
Depending on where you live (for example under UK or EU data protection law), you may have the right to access, correct, delete or move your personal data, or to object to how it’s used. You can delete your account yourself at any time in My Hibi. You can also complain to your local data protection authority, such as the ICO in the UK.
Changes
If we change how we handle your data, we’ll update this page and the date above.
